#Go Crocketteering
In 2019 the Galloway Raiders decided to celebrate Galloway writer S.R.Crockett’s 160th anniversary by laying 160 quote laden slates in Crockett Country. #GoCrocketteering offers you the opportunity to discover Crockett's Galloway by linking the quote with the location. From Hestan (Rathan) Island off the Solway Coast to Wigtown in the west, in the towns and villages, by the wayside and deep into the Galloway hills, if you look closely you may see one.

The 160 slates are split into areas SOLWAY, GLENKENS, HILLS and WEST.
You can download charts for each area and use the map to create your own personal literary tourism trail.
